BOB the BUILDER gets a PHF !!!
The highlight of the evening was our very special PAUL HARRIS PRESENTATION to BOB DORRELL.
Bob and Trish made a surprise visit to the Club from sunny Coffs Harbour and thanks to the quick thinking of the President's wife Ronice ,we were able to surprise Bob with the presentation of his PHF Award.
President Wayne proudly read out the citation and said the PHF was a recognition of Bob's contribution to the Rotary Club of Colac and Rotary International over many years.
His contributions were many and varied including going on a FAIM trip to Fiji to help build a community hall. Bob was also heavily involved in Fellowship and was instrumental in co-ordinating trips away for Rotarians and partners. Working bees, setting up for meetings and organising Rotary volunteers for
Great Ocean Road Marathon were all on his agenda !! He was our Mr Fix it, with President Wayne saying the wheel on the rostrum needed looking at!!
We all join in congratulating Bob on this very prestigious award and wish him and Trish all the best in their new life in Coffs Harbour.
